How to Get Here
Emirambi Gorilla Safari Lodge is located just 10 minutes from the Rushaga Visitor Information Centre of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, in southwestern Uganda. Whether you’re coming from Entebbe, Kampala, or Kigali, we can help guide you to us with ease.
By Air
Domestic flights are the fastest and most comfortable way to reach the region.
From Entebbe International Airport (EBB):
Book a domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. The flight takes about 1 hour. From Kisoro, we’ll arrange a private road transfer to the lodge (approx. 1.5 hours). Charter flights are available on request. We recommend advance booking for best schedules.
Our team can help coordinate domestic flights and transfers upon request.
By Road
Road travel is an adventurous and scenic option, offering views of Uganda’s countryside, highlands, and local culture. However, some routes are bumpy and require a 4×4 vehicle.
From Kampala/Entebbe (via Mbarara – Kabale – Muko- Rushaga):
Approx. 9–10 hours drive.From Kigali, Rwanda:
Cross into Uganda via Cyanika border. It’s about 4–5 hours drive to Rushaga. This is a great option for travelers already exploring Rwanda or flying into Kigali International Airport (KGL).
We can arrange private road transfers or recommend trusted local drivers.
